When you swipe right on a job, you appear in that role's pool of interested candidates. Recruiters review those candidates alongside their recommendations and swipe on the people they'd like to meet. When both sides have swiped right, it's a mutual match, and you can start talking and coordinating interviews.

Individual recruiters, hiring managers, founders, and companies. Recruiters set up a company profile, post roles, and review both the candidates who are interested in their jobs and the candidates Engage recommends. Company and recruiter verification help candidates know who they're talking to.

Internships, full-time, part-time, and contract roles — remote, hybrid, or on-site. You set your preferred roles, locations, compensation, and work arrangement, and recommendations follow your preferences.

Engage looks at skills, experience, projects, and preferences such as location, compensation, and availability, rather than matching keywords alone. Each recommendation comes with the reasons it was suggested. A match score shows how relevant something looks — it isn't a guarantee of an interview or a hire.

Boba is Engage's built-in AI assistant. For candidates, it helps you understand opportunities, schedule interviews, stay on top of reminders, and prepare. For recruiters, it helps make sense of candidate profiles, surface relevant talent, and coordinate interviews.

Not without your permission. With a premium plan, Boba can look for relevant roles outside Engage, check them against your profile, and let you know. It always asks whether you want to apply, and only helps you continue once you say yes.

For candidates, the core marketplace is free: your profile, recommendations, swiping, and mutual matches. A premium plan adds Boba's proactive job discovery and enhanced career assistance. Yes. Engage is open to candidates and hiring teams in every country, and you can buy early access from anywhere Polar's checkout supports. If your card is declined, your bank may need international online payments enabled.

Candidates can back up their profile with evidence such as GitHub activity, projects, portfolio work, and certifications. Engage always keeps verified information separate from self-reported details, and it's designed so candidates with fewer public credentials aren't unfairly penalised.
