About Engage
Engage is an early-stage startup operated by Akdev Saha and Nikhitha Dubbaka, based in India. Engage is not currently registered as a company. This policy covers tryengage.si and its waitlist. The Engage app is not publicly available yet.
Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and whether you are interested as a candidate or recruiter. Our hosting infrastructure also processes technical request information, such as your IP address and browser information. We use a hashed IP-derived identifier to limit repeated signup attempts. If you email us, we receive the information you include in your message.
How we use information
We use this information to maintain the waitlist, record interest in Engage, prevent duplicate or abusive signups, respond to enquiries, and understand website usage. We do not currently send waitlist confirmation emails.
Service providers and storage
The website is hosted by Vercel, and waitlist data is stored in Supabase in Tokyo, Japan. We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand website usage. If you purchase early access, Polar and its payment providers process your checkout details and payment. Polar collects the billing information needed for the transaction. We receive purchase information such as your email, order and customer identifiers, payment amount, and payment or refund status, which we may store in Supabase to manage your purchase. We do not receive or store full card details. We use Resend to send purchase confirmation emails. For this purpose, Resend processes your purchase email address, plan, payment amount, and order reference. We store confirmation delivery status to avoid repeated emails. These providers may process technical information as part of operating their services. Your information may be processed outside your country.
Engage is available to people in every country, and this policy applies wherever you are. Because our providers operate internationally, your information may be stored or processed in countries other than your own, including Japan, where our Supabase database is located.

Data retention and requests
We keep your information while managing the Engage waitlist. We delete it if you request removal or if we discontinue the waitlist. At launch, we review and delete information we no longer need. You can request removal from the waitlist or ask about access to or correction of your information by emailing us. Purchase records are kept separately to deliver purchased access, handle refunds, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations; removal from the waitlist does not automatically delete a purchase record.
Security
We use Vercel and Supabase to operate the website and store waitlist information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit passwords, identity documents, resumes, or other sensitive information through the waitlist form. Enter payment details only on Polar’s hosted checkout.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website and product develop. The date above indicates the latest revision. Additional product features and data practices will need to be described before they become available.
